MAXTER ATLAS [www.maxter-atlas.com] Atlas Hoist & Body, Inc., later renamed Atlas 2000 Inc., was incorporated in 1950. Its purpose was to design, market and produce hydraulic hoists and dump bodies which would endure the rough service that excavation trucks encountered in Montreal, Canada. The Atlas product quickly became the Industry "Standard". Atlas worked on an ongoing basis with the construction Industry to respond to their needs and to continuously improve its product line. Accepting difficult challenges created many product innovations. Today, Maxter Industries Ltd’s products are marketed and manufactured by Licensees and distributors throughout the world.
